Mitch Weiss: The Art of the Business of the Theater Renowned Author, Theater Manager/Producer

The Department of Theater, Dance and Film Studies and the University Career Development Office present "The Art of the Business of the Theater" Master Class on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2 -5 p.m. in Wilson Hall, Rm # 2018, led by Mitch Weiss, theater manager/producer and author of "The Business of Broadway."  Weiss’ 35 years of management experience include successful and well-known recording, sports and theatrical artists, Disney Theatricals-International, New York Shakespeare Festival, Big Apple Circus, and over 180 Broadway and off-Broadway shows. Weiss will share lessons learned from his long and successful career in the arts to dispel misconceptions and advise aspiring performers and managers about the business of theater.
