Matthew Glover Tap Dance Masterclass

Masterclass: Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 4:40 - 6 p.m.; Keller Theatre stage

Matthew Glover is a working professional actor, choreographer, and a proud member of Actors Equity Association. He has traveled around the world performing in the National Tour of "CATS," for North Carolina Theatre, Show Palace Theatre, Flat Rock Playhouse, Prather Entertainment, Busch Gardens, Hershey Park and Princess Cruise Lines. He was last seen on the Mill Mountain Stage as a singer/dancer in "Swing!" Along with performing he teaches master classes and choreographs throughout the country for universities, dance studios and high schools. Most recently he directed and choreographed "The Sound of Music" and "Swing!" at Mill Mountain Theatre along with "Anything Goes" at Burton Center for the Performing Arts where he was the head of the dance program for Burton Center for the Performing Arts. Glover has taught and judged for Dance in the Mountains and Showstoppers Dance Convention nationally. He has choreographed everything from solos to production numbers for Sell’s Broadway Dance Company and Pat’s School of Dance. While on the national Tour of "CATS," as a Swing and Dance Captain, he taught numerous master classes throughout the country for universities, high schools, and dance studios. Some of his favorite choreography credits include "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", "You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown," "The Music Man," and "Kiss Me Kate."
