Marlbrook Chamber Players: Romance of Russia Julia Goudimova, cello; Timothy Gaylard, piano; Jaime Letourneau, violin
Marlbrook Chamber Players bring the Romance of Russia to Wilson Hall with the Tchaikovsky Piano Trio in A minor, Op. 50 "In memory of a great artist" as the centerpiece. This landmark work is symphonic, bold and dramatic as one would expect of the Russian master, and was written as an elegy for his friend Nikolai Rubinstein, who died at the young age of 45. Other Romantic Russian works will be announced.
