The recital will feature songs and arias by Monteverdi, Bellini and Britten, one of Vivaldi's Cello Sonatas, and Bach's Aria variata alla maniera Italiana.

Williamson noted, "Our content all connects to Venice. The rocking lilt of the barcarole originated in a city whose most famous form of public transportation is the gondola. The program centers around the Venetian baroque from Monteverdi to Vivaldi. It also features Italian-inspired journeys to Germany courtesy of Bach, and Elizabethan England via Benjamin Britten."
