To Washington and Lee University,

I bid you greetings. I am a noble stranger from distant lands who has taken up residency in your quaint little village. It is my wish to become acquainted with your charming Lexington and experience the rich spark of life I sense blood pumping in your university’s veins.

To prove my good intentions, I cordially invite the Washington and Lee student, staff, and faculty body to a special feast to be held at the Commons Marketplace on Thursday, February 2, 5-8 p.m. There shall be exquisite food, good company, and merriment for all who partake.

Go safely; and leave something of the happiness you bring.

My feast for you that night includes blood orange roasted chicken, garlic mash potatoes, blood sausage, Romanian beef and chicken kabobs, the food of my homelands. Come and enjoy.
