ChoralFest 2014 Concert

The 2014 W&L ChoralFest honors one of America's brightest young conductors and composers, Eric Barnum.  Join the W&L University Singers, SVU Concert Choir, and other top college and high school choirs in a two-day event of choral excellence.  Public events include the Thursday lecture by Shane Lynch on Barnum's choral music, featuring the University Singers as the demonstration choir.  Following a full day of workshops and rehearsals with Barnum, each choir will perform a Barnum work and other music individually in a concert on Friday evening in VMI's historic Jackson Hall, with Barnum taking the podium and conducting his own works with the 300-voice Festival Mass Choir to close the concert.  Don't miss this one-of-a-kind event for the Lexington area.
