"Behind the Lines" - An Evening of One Act Plays
Directed by Robert Mish
The Department of Theater, Dance and Film Studies and this year's Total Theatre class present, "Behind the Line: An Evening of One Act Plays." Performing plays written by Harold Pinter, David Ives, and Terrence McNally, students will be acting as well as running the action behind the scenes.
Act I includes The Dumb Waiter by Harold Pinter, a "Dramedy" about two hitmen who have been hired to take out a target, but they don't know who that is. Act II includes Sure Thing by David Ives, a short comedy about relationships and how they change on a dime; Words, Words, Words by David Ives - "If given enough time, even a monkey could write Hamlet" and Andre's Mother by Terrence McNally about how four people express a sense of loss and letting go.
The One Act Company includes Arthur Love '18, Mackie Benson '21, Sam Womack '21 and Spencer Katterhagen '21
Tickets are $5
Tickets may be purchased online at wlu.edu/lenfest-center or at the Lenfest Center Box Office during regular hours (Monday-Friday 9-11:00 a.m. and 1-3:00 p.m. or 2 hours before the performance).
Tickets are forfeited if not seated 5 minutes before the play begins.
