AUDITIONS: Monty Python's Spamalot Robert O. and Elizabeth M. Bentley Musical

Auditions for Spamalot are Tuesday, November 11 and Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 6 - 9 P.M. in the Keller Theater.

Theater and Music announce AUDITIONS for the 2015 Bentley Musical, Monty Python's "Spamalot" will be held Tuesday, November 11 and Wednesday, November 12 from 6-9 p.m. in the Keller Theatre.  

Auditioners must sign up for one day or the other, and be available for the full three hours on their chosen day (or as close to it as possible). Students, faculty, staff, and community members are all welcome to audition. To sign up for a day, please email Jill Straub at jstraub@wlu.edu.

The audition will be in 3 parts: singing, dancing, and cold reading.
For the SINGING portion, women are asked to please prepare one legit song and one pop song; men are asked to prepare one legit song.  There will be a pianist available for accompaniment, so please bring sheet music if you don’t want to sing a cappella.  The DANCE portion will require you to learn choreography and then perform it.  Sides for the COLD READINGS will be available in the Theater Department office in Lenfest starting Nov. 4.

While not all parts require both singing and dancing, we will ask all auditioners to participate in all three portions of the audition.  Your willingness to try will be taken into account during casting.
