The University Jazz Ensemble and the Vosbein Magee Big Band return to the stage for their annual fall concert-a celebration of artistry, collaboration, and the timeless power of jazz.

For nearly three decades, the University Jazz Ensemble (UJE) has impressed audiences both on and off campus with its bold sound, sharp ensemble work, and exciting soloists. Sharing the bill is the Vosbein Magee Big Band (VMBB), a professional ensemble founded in 2015 and composed of some of the finest jazz musicians in the region. Their performances are known for precision, creativity, and a fiery sense of momentum.

This year's concert holds special meaning as it marks the tenth anniversary of VMBB, and comes on the heels of their newest album release, Vagabond, which is already receiving national radio play and rave reviews.

One of the most anticipated moments of the night will be when senior members of UJE step up to perform alongside VMBB, trading solos and sharing the spotlight in a moment that highlights the vibrant musical connection between student and professional performers.

The evening will feature a wide-ranging program-from jazz classics to new compositions-that showcases the depth, versatility, and excitement of big band music at its best.

Join us for a powerful night of music that celebrates community, creativity, and the next generation of jazz artists.
