Taxes and processing fees included in ticket pricing.W&L's Concert Guild welcomes acclaimed pianist and pedagogue Boris Berman to Wilson Concert Hall for a recital on February 1 at 8 p.m. A teacher of international stature, Berman heads the Piano Department of the Yale School of Music and conducts master classes throughout the world.

A Grammy nominee, Berman has recorded all solo piano works by Prokofiev and Schnittke, complete sonatas by Scriabin, and works by Mozart, Weber, Schumann, Brahms, Franck, Shostakovich, Debussy, Stravinsky, Berio, Cage and Joplin. He regularly performs and teaches in international festivals, with most recent visits to Austria, Belgium, England, France, Italy, Portugal, Scotland and Spain.

Berman will present a program of celebrated works including Schubert's 4 impromptus Op. 142 and Debussy's Suite bergamasque. He will also give a masterclass in Wilson Concert Hall that is open to the public on February 2 at 10:30 am.
