Where did my Workday Apps go?
In the new user interface, you can quickly find all your Workday Apps by clicking the View All Apps link as shown below.
Where did my Most Used Apps and Shortcuts icon go?
You can now find your Most Used Apps and Shortcuts by clicking the "hamburger" icon in the upper left of your Workday screen.
What is the new Workday Assistant?
The new Workday Assistant is designed to help you execute tasks, get help and discover information. Open the Workday Assistant by clicking one of the speech bubble icons on your homescreen (see below). The Workday Assistant is built to be intuitive while delivering self-service experiences and relevant information to you efficiently. Users can find a detailed list of its capabilities in the document located here.
How do I use the new Configurable Search?
- Start by entering your search query to view results, as you normally would.
- To view additional categories, based upon your results click More Categories.
- Click Configure Search to customize your own categories.
- Use the drag and drop feature to save your important categories and reorder your lists, then click Save.
- You can also click View Search Tips to learn better ways to search in Workday.
