Water Jet Cutter

The Omax Protomax abrasive water jet cutter uses a 30,000 PSI pump coupled with powdered synthetic garnet to cut through metal, stone, or nearly any other material that fits in the 12 x 12 inch cutting stage. The Protomax uses its own native CAD software to engineer parts, or files can be imported from other CADs. The material is submerged in water to minimize splashback, then the pressurized water stream carries the abrasive through the material, leaving a smooth, sanded finish.
