3D Printing

The IQ Center contains all the tools needed to create, visualize, and print 3D objects. The computers in the IQ Center are equipped with state-of-the-art software tools for creating a variety of 3D objects, including CAD models, math shapes, and sculptures.

To bring your creations to life, the Center is equipped with several 3D printers with different capabilities:

  • Ultimaker 3 for objects in two colors or with two different materials
  • Form 2 for making intricately detailed objects
  • ProJet 260C for creating beautiful, complex, full-color parts
  • uPrint SE for making complex, moving parts
Ultimaker 3 FDM 3D Printer

The Ultimaker 3 is an innovative dual extrusion machine with a large build area (8.5 x 8.5 x 7.9 inches).

3D Systems ProJet 260C

A high-resolution, full-color powder based 3D printer that creates complex parts with no need for removable support structures.

Stratasys uPrint SE

A powerful and accurate 3D printer that runs on FDM technology to build parts layer-by-layer from the bottom up by heating and extruding thermoplastic filaments.

Stratasys F170

A fast (20-30% faster than the UPrint SE) and quiet (maximum of 46 dB) 3D printer that runs on FDM technology with a max build volume of 10x10x10 in (254×254×254 mm).
