Organizational Scope
- Seasoned senior support/technical role that performs all of the standard and specialized work within the function
- Has significant impact on department and frequently on the division and day-to-day operations of facilities across the university

- Applies advanced skills and thorough knowledge of area of work or specialty to resolve complex problems independently
- May recommend modifications to processes to resolve situations

Technical and Computer Skills
- Assembles reports, presentations and mailings, etc. using word processing, desktop publishing, dictation, transcription and presentation software at an advanced level using functions such as mail merges; inputting complex text; performing moderately complex formatting such as tables or footnotes; inputting specialty text such as foreign languages, scientific and legal terminology, mathematical equations and terms
- Designs complex spreadsheets with multiple formulas, links, and/or tabbed functionality
- Uses advanced email functionality; i.e., scheduling assistant, room reservations, multiple calendar management, etc.
- Creates graphics and imports them into documents
- Imports and exports data (downloads from enterprise-level integrated systems, manipulates data, etc.).
- Understands and uses the interrelationships and implications of data within enterprise-level integrated systems
Typical Training/Experience
- Requires HS diploma and 6-8 years of experience in area of responsibility
OR - 1-2 years of vocational/technical school or Associate's degree and 3-5 years of technical level experience
