Technical and Computer Skills
- Operates basic office equipment and sometimes specialized equipment such as telephone switchboard consoles, postage meters, microfilm machines, audio-visual equipment, high-performance multi-function printers, etc.
- Maintains information on inventory of equipment in a department or division
- Prepares reports, presentations, mailings, etc. using word processing, desktop publishing, dictation, transcription and/or presentation software
- Modifies, maintains or creates spreadsheets and/or databases for analyzing or managing data using calculations and formulas
- Creates basic Web pages/forms using scanned images, button bars, hyperlinks, etc.
- Uses emailing software for email and calendar functions, setting up meetings and reserving rooms

Typical Training/Experience
- HS diploma or GED required
OR - May be the entry semi-skilled or skilled support job requiring 1-2 years of vocational training or an associates degree
- Generally requires 3-5 years of experience in area of responsibility or 0-3 years for jobs requiring vocational/technical school or Associate's degree
