Organizational Scope

  • Applies broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures to perform moderately complex tasks within the full range of standard professional field of work
  • Identifies and clarifies/defines problems and possible solutions independently; chooses among existing solutions
  • Demonstrates analytical skill by identifying and resolving missing/incomplete information and anomalies in working with more complex research/data

Supervision Received/Independent Judgment

  • Works independently and receives broad or general instruction on complex issues or problems
  • Typically involves periodic review of output by supervisor or direct "customers" of the process

  • May provide general guidance/direction and training to lower level non-exempt and exempt employees
