Inclusive Pedagogies

  This piece includes a list of actions that any scholar in any department from any discipline might consider.
  
• Anti-Racism Resource Guide
  Rich, shareable, and growing.
• Anti-Racist Educator Questionnaire and Rubric
  Meaningful engagement in the classroom begins with self-reflection. This is a useful tool to begin that process.
• Anti-Racist Resources for Your 2020-2021 Teaching
  Complied by the Modern Language Association, this site includes historical background, theory, assignments, teaching practices and actions to challenge white supremacy.
• Eight Actions to Reduce Racism in College Classrooms
  All of these are excellent. Number eight requires attention from all of us.
• 'Every Work of American Literature is About Race:' Writers on How We Got Here
  The New York Times asked writers to name the books that first made them aware of race and racism.
  
• Go-To Readings for Anti-Racist Pedagogies
  Assembled by the Great Lakes College Association/Global Liberal Arts Alliance, this is a very accessible reading list for folks who are early in the journey of rethinking their work in the classroom.
