About Kazuya Shirahama
My name is Kazuya Shirahama, and I am a teaching assistant in Japanese. I worked as a teaching assistant in Japanese at a university in Canada when I studied aboard there. I also have worked as an administrative staff at several universities in Japan. I like listening to music, reading books, and watching movies. I also like to go for a walk.
Washington and Lee University is a top-ranked liberal arts university, and through taking Japanese courses, students could develop advanced communication skills and gear up the challenges such as study abroad. I thought I would like to support the students by drawing on my experience and, that is why I applied for the teaching assistant position. I would like to make more efforts and support them by refining my skills.
