About Momoka Sano

Hi! I'm Momoka Sano, and I'm from Japan.

I earned my M.A. in Japanese Language Pedagogy from Purdue University, where I had the opportunity to help students learn Japanese and explore Japanese culture. Even though we're far from Japan, there are so many ways to experience Japanese culture right here! I love sharing the beauty of my culture with students and seeing their excitement as they discover something new.

At Washington and Lee, I'm beyond excited to begin this new journey with students, support their Japanese learning, and help them grow into global citizens!
