About Francesca Pastore

¡Hola!

My name is Francesca Pastore, and I am the Spanish teaching assistant. I come from (and very much love) Cordoba, Argentina. My city is surrounded by beautiful hills and rivers, so at WLU, I feel quite at home. I studied English Language and Literature and wish to keep exploring the mechanics of linguistics and culture through different languages in the future.

Someone once asked me what "my cup of tea" was, and, although it is quite an endeavor to summarize what makes us happy, I would say that my dogs, my family, Argentinian pastries, love, poems about love, mate, and (recently discovered) maple-glazed croissants.

I applied for the TA position because I wanted to explore a different culture, share my language, and acquire experience in my teaching practice.

Finally, I cry to Piano Man and Vienna (who doesn't?).
