About Amal AlQassimi

I am Amal and I'm from an island located at the heart of the middle east region called Bahrain. I am a passionate language enthusiast with a background in English, literature, and translation. I am a curious spirit, and I find delight in long outdoor walks and reading non-fiction books.

Being a TA at W&L has been a great experience. I am teaching my beautiful rich language, Arabic, and its vibrant culture, and it's so joyful to do it with the students here at W&L. This experience is helping me grow as an individual, as an instructor and as a leader, which is why applied for this job.
