About Jessi Chen

Hello! My name is Jessi. I am from Taiwan. My hometown, Yilan, is nestled between the mountains and the ocean; a lot like Lexington, just without the ocean! Growing up there gave me a deep love for outdoor activities, especially surfing.

Before coming to W&L, I completed my Master's degree in Applied Linguistics/TESOL at the University of Mississippi, where I also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Chinese Flagship Program and taught in the Summer Language Institute. I am glad to be here at W&L and excited to embark on this language-learning journey with you!

大家好！我叫陳奕潔，我來自台灣。我的家鄉是宜蘭，那裡的自然風景很美麗，一邊是山脈、一邊是海洋，和Lexington一樣被群山環繞，也因此我很喜歡戶外活動，特別是衝浪！

來華李大學之前，我在密西西比大學攻讀Applied Linguistics/TESOL的碩士學位，同時也擔任密大中文領航項目的助教、以及暑期密集班的中文老師。很開心能夠來到華李大學認識大家！
