Understanding the Challenges in Global Education

President John Kennedy used the slogan New Frontier to help explain his collection of new policies and goals during his tenure as President of the United States. Humanists in the twenty-first century seek to further define the slogan as challenges confronting societies in a newly-formed global community

As a result, we proposed that a colloquium on New Frontiers in Global Education be held on the campus of Washington and Lee University to discuss these challenges and opportunities in the realm of education in a world setting.  The gathering was held on Friday and Saturday, March 23 and 24, 2018

There were no fees as The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation supplied necessary funding for the two-day activity.

Please feel free to contact either of us should you require additional information about the event.
