Box Drive
What is Box Drive?
Files in the GDL are stored for student use on the Box Drive. This is where you will find movies, audio files, and testing files that your teacher has assigned. Please note that while you may be able to see these files on your own computer, you will only be able to access certain files on a GDL desktop or laptop. See the instructions outlined below for how set up your Box Drive on a GDL computer.
How do I access my teacher's files?
- Log onto a GDL laptop or desktop with your W&L Credentials
- Click on the blue desktop icon that says "Login to Box Drive"
- Log in again with W&L credentials
- Note: if this is your first time you may have to verify with your phone number
- After logging in you should now see a new desktop icon of a folder with the Box icon on top, open this folder
- Find your specific class's folder, this is where you can access any assigned files
Box Drive for Personal Use
In addition to being a powerful tool for GDL purposes, Box Drive is highly recommended by W&L's IT services for personal devices. It offers a convenient way to access all your Box files locally, even when offline. For more information on Box and Box Drive, please refer to the links below for W&L's IT Services pages:
