Loans for students include Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, the Federal Perkins Loan Program for Undergraduates and the Grad PLUS Loan for Law Students.
Federal Parent PLUS loans are non-need based loans that help parents and guardians borrow up to the cost of attendance for their undergraduate dependent children.
Washington and Lee University processes all Federal Stafford Loans, Federal Parent PLUS Loans, and Federal Grad PLUS Loans through the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program (referred to as the Direct Loan Program). This allows all students and parents to borrow their Federal Stafford Loans, Federal Grad PLUS Loans, and Federal PLUS Loans directly from the federal government.
