Receiving the Knight Fellowship Grant last summer allowed me to pursue my interest in practicing environmental law and helped fund my position as an unpaid intern
The Knight Fellowship I received as a law student at Washington and Lee for the summer of 2015 supported my internship at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Richmond, Virginia office
Thanks to the Knight Fellowship I was able to accept an unpaid summer internship with the Public Rights Division of the California Attorney General’s Office.
With the help of the A. Paul Knight Program, I experienced a summer internship on the front lines of an environmental non-profit organization and confronted many different issues in different capacities.
My experience at the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) this past summer was great. I worked at the central office in Richmond, VA in the enforcement division. More specifically, I worked closely with the waste enforcement manager.
