Jeanne Dillon ’96 Educational Theater Consultant

Since graduation, I have taught English in Poland, earned my M.F.A. in Theater, worked as a regional theatre actress, and taught English and directed the theatre program for Fauquier County Public Schools. In 2010, I began working for Kaiser Permanente as an Educational Theater Specialist, performing health-promotional plays and developing interactive workshops and plays to promote health in schools across the Mid-Atlantic. After my daughter was born in October, I started my own company and contract out to Kaiser. I would not have been as successful as I have been in any of these jobs if it had not been for the strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills I gained as an English major at Washington and Lee.
