EALL Andrew H. Hemm Award for Excellence In Chinese and Japanese
Winners of the Hemm Award
This award, first given in 2000-2001, was established by Andrew H. Hemm to recognize outstanding student performance in the study of Chinese and Japanese. In 2003, Mr. Hemm created an endowment to fund this prize in perpetuity. The prizes are giving annually to the two students who maintain the highest GPA's during their first two years of studying Chinese and Japanese, respectively. This is the first year we will award two seniors, in Chinese and Japanese individually, for their outstanding work over the past four years.
