Tamara Futrell Dean for Diversity, Inclusion and Student Engagement

Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, the Dean for Diversity, Inclusion and Student Engagement is responsible for providing leadership and vision for student diversity and inclusion programming, services and initiatives within the division of Students Affairs. Such offices and programs include the Office of Inclusion and Engagement, The Office of Jewish Life, religious and spiritual development, first generation programs and campus diversity trainings. She collaborates with the LGBTQ Coordinator to provide support for students within the community and allies.

Serving as an ex-officio member of the University Committee on Inclusiveness and Campus Climate, she works closely with the Executive Director of Human Resources and the Associate Provost and contributes to the University’s strategic diversity goals and objectives for faculty and staff.
