Currently residing in Harrisonburg, VA, Clint Linkmeyer is an avid performer, baroque trumpeter, and teacher of brass and music theory from Louisville, KY. Dr. Linkmeyer is passionate about performance, early music, and music theory pedagogy. A versatile performer, Clint has performed with numerous ensembles in a variety of styles and settings including the Massanutten Brass Band, Kentucky Bach Choir, and the Peoria Municipal Band.

Dr. Linkmeyer received his doctorate at the University of Kentucky. As a part of his doctoral research, he created a modern edition of John Hyde’s A New and Complete Preceptor for Trumpet and Bugle Horn.

Clint holds a Master of Music from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Music from University of Louisville. He currently serves as the instructor of trumpet at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA, as well as the instructor of high brass at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. Clint enjoys performing with the Waynesboro Symphony Orchestra, as well as the WSO Brass Quintet.
