Inclement Weather Plans

We will make every effort to host the Class of 2024 commencement ceremonies rain or shine. Information regarding any change in the scheduled plans will be posted to this website, W&L's social media accounts and LiveSafe app, and sent to student email addresses.

In the event of very bad storms, lightning or high winds, the rain location for both the Baccalaureate and Undergraduate Commencement will be VMI's Cameron Hall. Please note that VMI has a very strict "clear bag" policy, meaning purses, backpacks and other bags are not allowed into Cameron Hall.
