Hey everyone! I'm Abid- a rising senior at W&L, double majoring in Physics and Computer Science. I'm originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh. On campus, I stay active across a range of communities - I'm the President of GenTech, a Head Career Fellow, Physics Research Scholar, FYE100 Co-Facilitator and also act as a Teaching Assistant for intro classes. This summer, I'm continuing my research to detect gravitational waves that are caused by merging black holes. In my free time, I backpack across continents and cook Bangladeshi food for solo-travelling strangers.
