Career and Professional Development has funds available to support academic or career-oriented opportunities for students throughout the year. Funds are limited and not guaranteed. Eligible opportunities include but are not limited to graduate school entrance exam fees, professional development conferences, travel to and from job interviews, and other experiential continuing education or career-related opportunities. These funds do not cover summer internship funding or funds for unpaid work or internships during the academic year.

Apply for Summer Funding

W&L has funds available to support students (rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors) pursuing their internship or career-related goals during the summer months. Funds are limited and not guaranteed. Qualifying experiences include summer internships, coursework, or exploring other experiential continuing education or career-related opportunities. Applications for summer opportunities are evaluated on three separate deadlines (January, March, and April), and funds may be distributed from sources across the University. Opportunities that are not yet solidified or finalized may be considered. Explore this list of additional funding sources across the University.
