Federal Tax ID Number

Student Organizations cannot use Washington & Lee University Federal Tax ID Number for tax-exempt purchases or donations. The student organization accounts with the university are held for the convenience of the organization and the Executive Committee and do not belong to the University. A student organization will need to have its own Federal Tax ID and apply through the IRS for tax-exempt status.
