Generals Payments System
At Washington and Lee University, GPS allows users to view bills and make electronic payments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any location via the internet. Around the 15th of each month, bill statements are released and an email notice is sent to registered users on GPS.
Due to Federal student privacy regulations (FERPA), students must register first. After that, students can "manage account access" and invite parents or guardians to register and view the GPS account.
W&L has contracted with Nelnet Campus Commerce, formerly Tuition Management System (TMS), to provide more convenience and ease for our families to manage their education expenses in a one-stop, real time environment. The GPS portal will allow families to receive billing statements, view up-to-the-minute account activity, make payments, and enroll in an optional semester monthly payment plan.

E-bill email notifications are sent on 15th of each month. Payment is due by the 10th of the following month. Outstanding balances are subject to a late fee. Students with past-due accounts may not be able to register for courses.
