Written Agreements for Educational Programs

Washington and Lee University and Southern Virginia University collaborate in course work in Teacher Education through the Rockbridge Teacher Education Consortium (RTEC). The Consortium is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and approved by the Virginia Department of Education. The collaboration allows the institutions to supplement the capacity of both education departments to create a program that offers more courses, more frequently using both classroom instruction and practicum experiences. No additional costs are associated with the program.
