Studying the Lee Family

Join us at the University Chapel & Museum for a tour about the Lee Family. Most people know Robert E. Lee's role in the Civil War, but what role did his family play? Discover the lives of Lee's wife, Mary Custis Lee, and their seven children.  The Lee family covers a wide range of topics including working with people with disabilities, home-making, genealogy, but most importantly, the development of the student's connection to his/her own family. Students will finish their visit by completing a scavenger hunt to find Lee family portraits and artifacts in our museum.
