Mission: Nuestro Hogar Latino aims to provide a community and environment in which Latinx cultures, issues, and identities are promoted and acknowledged. The house welcomes students interested in sharing and supporting Latinidad. The house serves as a safe space to celebrate the commonalities and differences within a Latinx identity that is inclusive of all ethnic, racial, linguistic, and cultural backgrounds. In conjunction with the Comunidad Latina Estudiantil, the house will sponsor social and cultural programming to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the cultures within Latin America and the Caribbeans.

Each Bedroom Contains:

  • one full-sized bed with a mattress per resident
  • one wooden desk per resident
  • one desk chair per resident
  • one dresser per resident (4 drawers)
  • one closet per resident
  • wireless internet
  • XFINITY On CampusTM is included with on-campus housing!

*Note:  Window Air Conditioning units require annual registration and installation through Residence Life and University Facilities.  See Upper-Division FAQs for specific guidelines pertaining to Window A/C approvals and installations.

Eligibility:

  • A willingness to actively participate in house events and programming
  • Students who identify as Latinx, allies, and anyone interested in learning about the Latinx culture
