Meet new people through one of the many fun activities offered (Woods Creek Walk coordinated by Geology, Campus Rec competitions, etc.) and take advantage of the opportunities to audition for music, theater, or dance.

The Director of Institutional History has created a FY scavenger hunt. This link takes you to the first of twelve clues to encourage you to explore our historic campus.  Come by the final location (Clue #12) between 7-8pm on Tuesday for a sweet treat.

Community Carnival runs from 4-7pm on Lee Avenue (walk toward downtown from FY housing and you can’t miss it).  Check out the dunk tank, carnival games, cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn.

Get Downtown begins and ends at the Carnival.  Your tour time is indicated in the attached document.  Please be outside Blue Sky Bakery (the corner of Lee Avenue and Nelson St. – the far end of the carnival) a few minutes before your assigned time to meet your tour guide.  The walking tour of downtown lasts approximately 45 minutes.  Over 40 local vendors are staying open late to welcome you to Lexington.  Wear comfortable shoes for walking.  If you have mobility concerns, please check with your RA for an alternative option.  Don’t forget to eat dinner in the Marketplace between 4:30-8pm.
