Production Club

The production club is a student organization specializing in the technical aspects of performance. Teaching and practicing useful skills such as live sound, recording and lighting design, the students of the production club function as professional technicians at events on and off campus.

Last year, the production club ran sound and/or lights for many WLU events, including:

  • LGBTQ BBQ
  • Black and White Ball
  • Winterfest
  • Dance Marathon
  • Fancy Dress Reveal Party
  • QuestBridge Ball
  • Lexapaloza
  • The Hub
  • FUDG
  • Production of "Awed by her Splendor"
  • Experimental Production of "Hamlet"

As well as for several bands in concert around the community:

  • Graham Spice and Friends
  • Zack Ely
  • Sun-dried Opossum
  • Fat Reeves and the Sacadelics
  • Naked Lunch
  • Lord Nelson
  • Wild Commons
  • Thursday Night Sessions at the Palms Restaurant

This year, the production club hopes to continue growing, and will offer master classes by local professionals to new and returning members. If you are interested in joining, email us at production@mail.wlu.edu or come talk to us at the activities fair.
