The university is no longer conducting contact tracing and COVID care monitoring.
If you have symptoms that could be attributed to Covid-19:
Please stay away from campus and seek a COVID test from your doctor's office, Velocity Care, MedExpress or Rockbridge Area Heath Center.
Please stay home and quarantine until you have test results. Rapid/Home tests are meant to be taken as a series of 2 tests, taken 24-36 hours apart from each other.
If you have tested positive for Covid:
- Use the CDC Calculator to determine your Isolation Period: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html
- Notify all your close contacts: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/tell-your-contacts.html
- Notify your Supervisor/Department Head of your Isolation Period. You will need to use CTO/SLR during your time off. If you do not have any CTO/SLR time you will need to take your Isolation Period as unpaid.
- Contact your healthcare provider to discuss your test results and available treatment options. Watch for symptoms, especially fever. If you have an emergency warning sign, such as trouble breathing or persistent chest pain or pressure, seek emergency medical care immediately
