Revised Plan for Greek Recruitment - W&L Community

To: The W&L Community
From: The Student Affairs Committee
Date: Monday, January 25

In its meeting this afternoon, the Student Affairs Committee voted unanimously to approve a revised Greek recruitment plan that was submitted by the Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils, who worked closely with Student Affairs staff and SAC faculty on its development.

Under the revised plan, Panhellenic will conduct partially structured recruitment over the course of two weekends, March 19-20 and March 26-28, 2021. Further details on the format will be shared with first-year students in the coming weeks. IFC recruitment will take place March 23-26. New Member Education will still be held during Spring Term in a condensed, three-week format to begin on the first day of classes.

All recruitment processes will be held virtually, as previously announced and as required by the NPC national organizations.

In the meantime, no contact expectations have been lifted and informal recruitment may continue as long as all current guidelines, including state and university COVID community values, guidelines, and restrictions, are followed.

Questions may be addressed to or a student's class dean.
