Austin Brown '13L

Austin Brown Mr. Brown is a 2007 graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, where he majored in Communications and minored in Economics. Additionally, Mr. Brown was an all-conference player for the men's basketball team and named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll. Upon graduation from DePauw, Mr. Brown relocated to New York City, where he spent time on Wall Street as an analyst in the tax-exempt capital markets group at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc., with specific focus on clients in the Southeast region consisting of Florida and Puerto Rico.

In 2013, Mr. Brown graduated from Washington and Lee School of Law. During law school, Mr. Brown was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, serving as President his 2L year. During the summers, Mr. Brown spent time as an intern at Priority Sports & Entertainment in Los Angeles and also worked as a summer associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York City, working in the investment management group. As part of the Third Year Program, Mr. Brown spent time at both Octagon and Creative Artists Agency Sports (CAA Sports), both located in Chicago, IL, focusing on NBA contractual analysis and player evaluation.  

Currently, Mr. Brown is an NBPA-Certified Player-Agent and a co-head of the CAA Basketball division. In addition to client management, Mr. Brown also specializes in NBA Pre-Draft preparation, player evaluation as well as contractual/statistical analysis.
